The Medellín Impact Women's Retreat

Grow your business without losing yourself in it.

Why this retreat exists

A room built for the woman, not the conference badge.

A note from James P. Lewis, retreat host and founder of Lewis Business Acumen.

"After 20 years of developing leaders in male-dominated industries, I've seen the extraordinary impact that happens when women are given the floor to speak and the space to lead. This event is about moving beyond just fitting in to a corporate culture — it's a dedicated environment designed for women to amplify their voices, sharpen their influence, and truly flourish."

The Medellín Impact Women's Retreat is built around a small, deliberate cohort so every woman in the room is seen, heard, and held accountable to the version of herself she came here to step into.

For the woman who…

You don't need another conference. You need a week where you finally hear yourself think.

This is for the woman who is competent on the outside and quietly running on fumes on the inside. The one who hasn't taken a real exhale in eighteen months. The one who keeps saying "after this next quarter."

1

The corporate woman ready to build her own thing

You've spent years executing someone else's strategy beautifully. You have the skills. What you don't have is permission, a plan, or a room of women who get it.

2

The founder running $100K–$500K and carrying it alone

You've built real momentum. You're also the strategist, the operator, the bookkeeper, the marketer, and the one answering DMs at 11pm. The bottleneck is no longer the market. It's you carrying every role.

3

The woman who's "fine" — and isn't

Revenue is up. Calendar is full. Resentment is creeping in. You're starting to wonder if growing the business is costing you the woman you wanted to be while building it.

This is not a vacation, and it's not a vision board. It's a working week — for women ready to look honestly at what is working, what is quietly draining them, and what has to change before the next quarter.

Four pillars

The strategy is personal, operational, and executable.

We are not treating wellness as an escape from the business. We are treating energy, health, and capacity as part of the business strategy.

Values-Based Leadership

Values are not just words. They should guide decisions, boundaries, customer selection, hiring, team expectations, and culture.

Execution Over Ideas

This retreat is not about collecting more ideas. It is about deciding what matters and building a plan that gets done.

Energy, Health & Capacity

A depleted leader makes different decisions than a clear, healthy, rested leader. Energy affects communication, courage, delegation, sales confidence, creativity, and consistency.

Authentic Leadership

Women do not have to shrink, overcompensate, or copy a leadership style that does not fit them. Lead with clarity, confidence, warmth, strength, and authenticity.

What you'll leave with

Not inspiration. A list, a rhythm, and a Monday morning move.

  • The three things you'll stop doing on Monday — and who you'll tell
  • A 90-day execution roadmap with named owners and dates
  • A weekly operating rhythm you can run in 60 minutes
  • The top three constraints quietly capping your revenue
  • A values-based filter for saying yes, no, and not yet
  • A personal capacity plan so the next quarter doesn't break you
  • A decision framework for what to stop, delegate, fix, simplify, or systemize
  • A specific leadership behavior you commit to in front of the room
  • CEO / VIP only: a professionally captured content package

Transformation

You arrive stretched. You leave structured.

Before

  • Pulled in too many directions
  • Unclear on what to prioritize
  • Tired from carrying too much
  • Full of ideas but short on execution
  • Ready for growth but unsure what needs to change first
  • Successful on the outside, but stretched internally

After

  • Clearer direction
  • Stronger leadership identity
  • Practical 90-day plan
  • More energy and personal capacity
  • Better understanding of what is driving and draining the business
  • Weekly execution rhythm
  • Support structure for implementation
  • Renewed confidence in how she wants to lead

You arrive overwhelmed, overextended, and unsure what needs to change first. You leave with clarity, structure, restored capacity, and a 90-day plan for how to lead your business with intention.

"I joined the James Lewis Business Acumen Mentorship program, and it has completely transformed my perspective on business development. I can't emphasize enough how much it has helped me in building my own business. But let me tell you, it wasn't a walk in the park. It required dedication, discipline & consistency! His coaching program is all about action! So if you're an action taker, you'll definitely become the successful leader you're destined to be. This mentorship has been instrumental in helping me create a well-defined roadmap to achieve my business goals. It's truly been a game-changer for me, and that's why I am part of his continuing alumni biweekly meetings. Mr. Lewis has unleashed the beast in me!"

Before you say yes

The honest part: leaving home for five days.

If you're a partner, a mother, the keeper of school pickup and grocery lists and the dog's medication schedule — this section is for you. Five days away requires a real plan. We help you build one.

What to set up at home

Two weeks before the retreat, you'll receive a short prep guide for the home front: what to handover, what to pre-buy, what to schedule, and a simple "if anything happens, here's who calls whom" template you can hand to your partner or caregiver.

How we keep you reachable

The retreat is a focused container, not a silent retreat. You will have time built into the schedule for a daily check-in home, and an emergency contact channel that is monitored throughout the week. You will not disappear.

Who you'll be in the room with

An intentionally small cohort of 12 women — founders running coaching practices, agency owners scaling past $1M, corporate VPs preparing to leave, women who are launching after the kids are older. Different industries, same caliber.

Travel, Support & Preparation

Supported from arrival to implementation.

Guests should plan to arrive Wednesday, September 2, so they are settled and ready for Thursday morning programming. Official programming ends Sunday, September 6. • Clear arrival instructions
  • Recommended flight windows
  • Villa details shared with confirmed guests
